Heaven – The Eternal Hope of the Redeemed

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 15:19; John 14:1-4; Colossians 1:27-29

The Description of Heaven
Heaven is a place and the eternal hope of the saved. The Scripture describes it as a beautiful city where the redeemed will live for eternity. Praise the Lord!!

The glories of Heaven belong only to those who have personally trusted Christ for their salvation. Believers who work to win souls are gathering friends who will spend eternity with them in Heaven.

The Scripture makes us to understand the eternal state following the Millennium and the final judgment, the first heaven and the first earth will be replaced by a new heaven and a new earth as the eternal habitation of the saved – Revelation 21:1-5.

The present universe will be cleansed from all the effects of sin – 2 Peter 3:7, 10-14. The new earth will have the (Tabernacle of God) – the presence of God will be with His people, and He will forever dwell with them. The complete felowship of God with His redeemed people. There will be no tears, death, sorrow, crying or pain. Everything will become new. Praise God!!

Heaven is full of the glory and the splendor of God. A place with street of gold and precious stones. The Bibles describes the way as – “And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there, but the redeemed shall walk there”- Isaiah 35:8, 9. Sadly according to this passage no unclean person (immoral or depraved persons) will be found on this way, including those who reject the salvation of Christ.

Are you looking forward or have you decided to spend eternity with Christ? That would be the wisest choice you ever made. Reach out to the Lord and trust Him to keep you through. We are all looking upwards to see when the sky would open, the sounding of the trumpet and the redeemed are taken away in a rapture. And forever will be with Lord.

It will be a glorious moment in the lives of all believers who have given their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. And are living in purity and sincerity awaiting His return. Praise God!!
