- The Holy Bible, consisting of 39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament, is the inspired Word of God. We take the Bible as final authority in all matters concerning Christian conduct and works – (Proverbs 30:5,6; Timothy 3:16,17; Revelation 22:18,19).
- That the Godhead consists of three separate and distinct personalities and qualities, perfectly united in one. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are different Persons in the Godhead, and not three names for one Person – (Mathew 3:16, 17; 28:19,20).
- The virgin birth of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. The crucifixion, death, burial, bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, and His ascension into Heaven – (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 27:27,34,35,50,59-60; 28:1-7; Acts 1:9-11).
- That all men have sinned and are guilty before God. Subjecting them to the wrath of God and condemnation – (Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:23; 5:12-14, 18; 1:18).
- That repentance is a total turn away from all sins and its deceitfulness and allurements. That confession and repentance from one’s sin result to God’s forgiveness and the gift of salvation. It is required from every sinner to truly believe in Jesus Christ with saving faith in Him to be born again – (Proverbs 28:13; Mark 16:15-16; Romans 10:9; 1 John 1:9).
- That restitution is making amends for wrongs done against our fellow men, restoring stolen things to the rightful owners, paying debts, giving back where one has defrauded, apologizing to those offended or slandered as to have a conscience void of offense towards God and man – (Exodus 22:1-7; Leviticus 6:1-7; Numbers 5:6-8; 2 Samuel 12:1-6; Ezekiel 33:14-16; Luke 19:8,9; Acts 24:16).
- That justification is the act of God’s grace whereby one receives forgiveness and remission of one’s sins and is counted righteous before God, through faith in the atoning blood of Jesus – (Romans 3:28; 5:1,2; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8,9).
- That Water Baptism is essential to our obedience after reconciliation with God. It is a public declaration to identify with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. Water Baptism is only by one immersion “In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” as Jesus commanded – (Matthew 28:19; 3:13-17; Mark 16:15,16; Acts 2:38).
- The Lord’s Supper as was ordained and instructed by Jesus Christ so that all believers might partake thereof in remembrance of Him – (Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
- In entire sanctification (spirit, soul and body) whereby a believer is consecrated, the heart is purged, purified and made holy by a definite act of God’s grace, through faith in the sanctifying blood of Jesus Christ. Holiness of life and purity of heart are commanded by God and are central to Christian living – (Luke 1:74,75; John 17:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 4:3,7; 5:23-24; Hebrews 12:14).
- In Baptism in the Holy Spirit with power from on High upon the sanctified believer, with the initial evidence of speaking in unlearned or untaught tongue or language as the Spirit gives utterance (Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; Acts 10:44-46; 19:1-6).
- In miracles (God’s supernatural intervention in the situation of men), through Holy Spirit filled believers (with purity and power); healing, deliverance and restoration of health to those who believe on the promises of God and His unchanging Word – (Exodus 15:26; Isaiah 53:4-5; 3 John 2).
- In tithes and offerings as demanded by the Scripture. (But we do not manipulate, pressure or lay undue emphasis on giving by the people. We believe one should willingly and cheerfully give unto the Lord as the Lord has prospered him). Giving is part of serving the Lord with our substance – (Genesis 14:17-20; Proverbs 3:9-10; Luke 6:38).
- That the Rapture is the catching away from the earth of all ready believers and all who died in the Lord. The Bible makes us to understand that Rapture will take place before the Great Tribulation period. And that Rapture is the first of two phases of the “Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ”- (1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 2:5-7).
- That the Great Tribulation (the period when the Antichrist will reign in terror in this present world) will occur after the Rapture of believers, and will be a time of terrible agony, woes and sufferings to the people left behind after the rapture of the church. While the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Between Christ and His redeemed church) will take place above, the same time when the tribulation continues on earth – (Matthew 24:21,22,29; Revelation 9:16; Revelation 13:1-18; Revelation 19:1-10).
- The Second Coming of Christ would be as visible as His going away. Christ will return in glory to execute righteous judgment upon the ungodly, the destruction of the beast, the false prophet and their armies and ultimately establish the millennial Kingdom (a thousand years of His reign of peace and holiness) – (Zechariah 14:3,4; Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 19:11-16; 20:2-3).
- The Great White Throne Judgment (the Bema) – the resurrection and final judgment of the wicked. When all the living and the dead, both small and great whoever have lived on the face of the earth and whose name was not found written in the book of life, would finally be judged according to their works – (Revelation 20:11-15).
- The New Heaven and The New Earth (The New Jerusalem – the dwelling place throughout eternity for the saints). This present earth which has been polluted by sin will pass away after the Great White Throne Judgment – (2 Peter 3:7-10; Revelation 21:1-7; 22:1-5).
- That Hell and Lake of fire are a place of everlasting punishment wherein sinners, demons and Satan will spend eternity in everlasting torments. (Death, hell will also be cast into the “Lake of fire”) Matthew 13:41-42; Revelation 14:10-11; 20:12-15.
